Event or Banquet

Pig on the Porch is a small locally-owned restaurant and bar in historic downtown Loretto. We strive to provide you with quality in service, food, and beverage. Your special event will be taken care of with genuine concern and detail. We offer seating for groups of up to 85 in our upstairs dining room. We also offer a smaller room, on the upper level, for groups of up to 8. Please note that both of our banquet rooms are on an upper level and accessible by stairs only. Our facilities are smoke-free.

We have a variety of selections on our menu, including options for children. To serve you better, we ask that you limit your choices. If you have a favorite that is not on our menu, please ask, we are more than willing to accommodate special requests and dietary concern. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call.

Guarantee

A final confirmation and number of guests are required by 4:00 p.m., four business days prior to the function.

Room Deposit

A room deposit of $50 is due upon booking larger private parties unless it has been waived by management. This deposit will hold the room for your group. The deposit is refundable if cancellation occurs up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the function.

Room Minimum

With each function, a minimum of food and beverage dollars must be spent without a room charge being charged. The minimum amounts differ by day and evening, as well as weekday vs. weekend. If these minimums are not met or if there are substantial set-up and clean-up needs, then a room rental charge may be added to the final bill. Taxes and gratuities do not qualify towards the food and beverage minimum calculation.

Service Charge

A service charge of 22% (depending on a number of staff members needed) and applicable state and local taxes will be added to all food and beverage charges.

Miscellaneous Charges

We ask that guests receive management approval before bringing in any outside food and/or beverage. For wine, there is a $15.00 per bottle corkage fee.

Floral or Decorative Needs

We will work with you to ensure that your floral or decorative needs are taken care of. Decorations may be brought in prior to the party (in most cases). We have a floral contact with which we do business and would be happy to arrange your delivery to the restaurant (this requires advance notice).

Dinner Meal Options

Meal Selections

Select 2 to 4 of your favorite entree items from our regular dinner menu. Each entree will be accompanied by choice of soup or salad (may limit to house salad with large parties), choice of potato, house vegetable, and bread. Please inquire if you have a need for smaller portion options available at a lesser cost.

Off Menu

With parties of 20 or fewer guests, you may order off the regular dinner menu.

Buffet

We will provide a buffet with selected items. This type of set-up is only available for larger groups in a private setting. We are unable to provide this option on certain weekends and holidays. Selections will be discussed with you and tailored to your event.

Dinner Drink Options

Hosted Bar/Open Bar

A pre-set amount is determined by the host. The host can either pay for all the drinks on the tab, set a price limit on your spending or have a time limit set for the bar tab.

Cash Bar

Guests pay cash for their drinks as they order.

Drink Tickets

Tickets are issued for “complimentary” drink/s to your guest. The host is charged on the tab for the number of tickets redeemed. After the guest has used their ticket/s drinks are paid for individually by cash.
